Best Shot Monday

My friends Jayne and Lee (you have to put her blog on your reader - her posts always inspire me!) posted a link to Tracey Clark's site. She hosts a "My Best Shot Monday" challenge. Basically she encourages you to post your best photo from the previous week. I decided to play along to see if this would make me a more regular blogger. LOL


I couldn't pick just one this week.
The first one is my son turning his tassel making him an official high school graduate. :D



I took my visiting in-laws to a little cove less than a mile from our home where bald eagles nest. The tide was out and there were about 50 eagles on the beach. I got this shot when one of them decided to fly overhead.

Graduation was Friday night. The ceremony was wonderful. Grant was one of 404 kids to graduate from the school that night. Here are a few highlight photos.

Freshman Formal

Around here Freshman Formal is the first 'real' dance for the kids..... preparation for all the homecoming dances and proms to come.

My little girl is getting so grown up. She went with a group of friends (6 couples). Her date for the evening is a good friend and running buddy.

Quick little (30x36) quilt I made and finally finished last weekend. It uses scraps from 130 different bright colored fabrics.
