I think I must have been crazy when I signed up for for Lain Ehmann's LOAD challenge for October. It has been a long time since I've made more than a few layouts at a time and now I've signed up to do 31 in 31 days. The good news is we are now on the second day and I've done a page for both days AND I've laid out several more pages to do in the coming days! Now that I'm motivated it is hard to not just sit and do them but the rules state we have to do one per day. So here are my pages for Day 1 &2:
These were my only unfinished knitting project. The pattern was so strangely written that it was not a fun knit and took forever to get the motivation to finish them. I was able to finish the socks while watching Monday Night Football with my hubby. Can't wait to start a new knitting project but I have a list of other things to finish first.
I live in beautiful Washington state with my husband of 23 years and the youngest of our three children (the older two are off to college in Massachusetts and California).
I have been scrapbooking since 1993 and it has evolved into cardmaking and has also made a love for photography.
I began sewing when I was 7 years old. I use to sew a lot of clothes for myself and then my children. I made the switch to quilting about 7 years ago.
Knitting was something I learned as a teenager and after a 20 some year break has re-entered my life.
