Happy Birthday, Grant!

I can't believe my sweet baby boy is 19!
I miss him now that he is away at college, but thankfully he keeps in touch.

Felted Hat

I'm finding that I'm getting quite a bit of knitting done while watching the Winter Olympics.

I'm so excited!!!

I am so excited to announce that I will be working as a design team member along with http://feelinscrappy.blogspot.com/ and Lee Currie at Feeling Scrappy! I've loved all the classes I've been a part of there and can't wait to be working behind the scenes once again (I was a Guest Designer last summer).
Sketchapalooza 6 has been just announced for May 3-31. This series of classes are phenomenal. You will receive 20 sketches (5 per week) during the class plus all sketches will be available as digital templates as well. The classes are on a private forum where inspiration and friendly conversation abound. Be sure to check out all the detailshere and sign up for the class. I look forward to seeing you there!

Circles in a Circle

I finished another quilt!!! This is my own pattern using this Wassily Kandinsky Painting as my inspiration. The circles are inset and highlighted with satin stitching and beading and measures 21" square. I will be entering this quilt in the guild quilt show next month.

Shur'tugal Socks

I finished these socks just in time for Christmas. I was unable to find the matching color sequence in the two skeins of yarn so they are more fraternal twins than identical. LOL (Pattern: Shur'tugal by Alice Yu)

Christmas Ornaments

Each year I make an ornament for each of my kids to someday take with them when they 'grow up'. This year I made needle felted penquins. I love how they turned out!
