This past weekend my son competed in the Washington State ProStart Culinary Competition along with a team from his high school. Although the team didn't receive any awards he was one of 4 students nominated for the State Culinary Student of the Year. He did not win the $1000 scholarship but his parents were very proud of him. :D

Very cool! IS this a club at school or some type of class?
It is a class. He is the only student in ProStart 2, his teammates are currently in ProStart1. It is series of classes aimed for those interested in the culinary profession.
That is so wonderful! How marvelous that he is already embarking on the journey of an amazing culinary career!
