A Year of Cheer!

I just finished taking the Year of Cheer card class at Feeling Scrappy taught by the amazing Stacey. This was such a fun class with an amazingly talented group of women. I was able to make 22 cards plus a storage box to keep them organized (all from my stash! :D ) during the ten day class. If you haven't checked out the Feeling Scrappy on-line classes I encourage you to do so. Their amazing Sketchapalooza 3 class will start in March! I can't wait! :D

Warm Chunky Vest

I used Cascade Magnum Yarn to make this super chunky vest. Being the yarn is so thick it made for a very quick knit. (Sorry, the photo of me is so bad. The sun was in my eyes. That is my story and I'm sticking to it.) LOL

I've been tagged.

Tracy has tagged me. My instructions were to share the sixth photo in my sixth album. I am to pass this on to 6 people, but since most of my blog followers have already done this I will 'tag' the next 6 people to look at my blog. :D
This photo was taken Aug. 15, 2007.......Sunset over the Olympic Mountain range from our deck. (I'm thinking I need to clean out some photos--LOL)

Tolo Dinner

Saturday was my son's school's Tolo dance. He made dinner for his date a a few friends. He has aspirations of someday becoming a chef (if only the profession paid well. LOL) He was in the kitchen all day making this delicious five course meal: spinach strawberry salad, scallop ceviche, saffron shrimp ravioli, duck a l'orange with mashed pototoes and three desserts (profiteroles, creme brulee, and strawberries with almond cream) .....I was in the kitchen all day cleaning up after him! LOL
(For those that don't know my DS is the one with the red vest.)

January Layouts

I joined Cyn's Use Your Stash Challenge over on ScrapShare. (You can read about it on her blog as well). It was wonderful to get 10 pages done, 4 cards made and 2 things altered without spending a dime.
Here are the layouts I did from our trip to Bora Bora.

January Cards

These are the cards I made for all the January birthdays:
