Senior Night

Senior activities have started.....Last night the senior soccer players were honored before their last home game.

Finally Finished!

Yay! Finally finished these socks. The pattern was a little vague so I ended up having to rip and redo several times, but I'm pleased to say they are done after three months........ OK, so I did put them down for awhile and did other projects to give my brain some recovery time.;-)

I've been tagged by my friend Jayne.

The tag how-to...
Go to the photos folder on your computer.
Go to the seventh folder of photos.
Go to the seventh photo.
Put the seventh photo on your blog along with a description.
Invite seven friends to join.

This is a photos of my second son taken last September playing goalie during a select soccer game. It was taken the week before he broke his arm making a save. Needless to say his season was cut short.

It appears that the people I was going to invite to join have already been tagged so I will invite whomever wants to join the fun to do so. :D

10 Happy Things!

My friend, Jayne, posted a few things that made her happy today. I thought it was a great idea to share those things in our lives that make us feel blessed. So is my list today:

1.) Having a lunch date with my daughter today. (She is getting out of school early today because of some testing that she isn't a part of.

2.) Having an appointment to talk to oldest son tonight. Before he takes off for Spain tomorrow.

3.) Starting to make lists of things to do for vacation in 9 days (but who is counting?).

4.) Watching Kelsey play the bass in her orchestra concert last night

5.) Watching Grant play goalie for the high school soccer team.

6.) Seeing Spring beginning to 'spring'. The leaves are starting to come out on the trees and the tulips are pushing there way out of the ground. :)

7.) Completing so many layouts during the Feeling Scrappy Sketchapalooza 3 class! And loving them all. :D

8.) Having creative time for scrapping, sewing and knitting

9.) Looking at our view!

10.) Having a clean house!

Proud Momma

This past weekend my son competed in the Washington State ProStart Culinary Competition along with a team from his high school. Although the team didn't receive any awards he was one of 4 students nominated for the State Culinary Student of the Year. He did not win the $1000 scholarship but his parents were very proud of him. :D
